Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our service that uses a trademark number to find the trademark in the CIPO database and provides a comprehensive analysis of all products and services associated with the trademark application. By using our service, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Service Description

We offer two types of reports:

  • Robust AI Report: This report includes an analysis of all terms in the trademark application. Each term is marked as either a correct (acceptable) term or an incorrect (unacceptable) term.
  • Advanced AI Report: In addition to the analysis, this report provides up to 15 suggestions on how incorrect terms can be amended.

2. Payment Terms

  • Trial Usage: We offer 5 free uses per month.
  • Pay-As-You-Go Plan:
    • Robust AI Report: CA$39 for an analysis of all terms.
    • Advanced AI Report: CA$59 for a list of AI suggestions.

3. Waiver of Guarantee

  • Accuracy: As this is an early-stage product, we do not guarantee that the reports are 100% accurate.
  • CIPO Classification Changes: We cannot guarantee that the CIPO will not change the classification after a report is issued.
  • AI Suggestions: Suggestions are generated by AI and may sometimes be incorrect. We recommend reviewing the suggested terms for accuracy.
  • Delays in Updating Cover Sheets: Our service uses a list of goods/services as available on the cover sheet on the CIPO website. Sometimes the CIPO processes amendments to goods/services with a delay, and the latest changes may not be reflected on the cover sheet. This might result in inaccuracies in our report as such unprocessed changes are not reflected on the cover sheet.

4. Personal Data

  • Data Collected: We collect your email address and the trademark number.
  • Data Storage: The final report is stored on our server.
  • Data Usage: We do not collect or store any other personal information.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • No Liability for Errors: We are not liable for any errors or omissions in the reports provided.
  • No Liability for Changes: We are not responsible for any changes in the CIPO classification or any other external changes that may affect the report's accuracy.

6. Modifications to the Service and Prices

  • Changes: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
  • Price Changes: Prices for our services are subject to change without notice.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada.
